Santiago de Chile

On the road again, and this time as a part of DAKAR..... Cool if you ask me, but of cause not so cool since I am in a bus, not a Car or trailer...... But who know, may be next time ;)

At least I got some photos from Dakar...

So after 10 hours, used 3 hours at the boarder Chile-Argentina, I am in SANTIAGO.
The Spanish Conquestador Pedro de Valdivia( This is the town I am going to next) founded "Santiago del Nuveo Extremo on February 12, 1541. At lest that is what the Lonely planet are telling me.

I am staying in a Hotel, so that is OK...


The question is:

Have I been doing some tourist kine of things, YES I HAVE

Mercado Central ( not eating fish)
Cerro San Cristóbal (Virgin Maria looking over the city!)
Museo Chileno De Arte Precolombiano
Havana salsa ( Dinner and Salsa show)
I have been doing the walk in the town,
so that it is pretty much was my guide told me to do( Lonely Planet)

And I have one day more to go, tomorrow it is just a easy day with Coffee and Icecreme.....


It is possible to ask someone to take a photo of you and still get the camera back.....
At lest up til now.

The city is big 8 000 000 are living here, maybe more.....
